What is worship like at St. Paul’s?
Come as you are. We don’t care what clothes you wear or what kind of shape your spiritual is in. Because God meets you and loves you where you are, we strive to do the same.
We like kids. Come and truly worship as a family…we mean it. God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to squash it in worship. We want kids to be a part of our congregation’s worship. There are 2 or 3 times during the Sunday service that kids (of any age) are invited to lead in some way…from ushering to setting the communion table…to helping Pastor Scott give life to God’s story for us. Also, we have a “Prayground Area” in the back of the sanctuary. Why? Because we believe playful noise is part of the sound of worship, too!
Communion. We have communion every Sunday…and you are welcome to it, without exception. All ages are invited, too. For us, the bread and wine is the body and blood of Christ, and is a meal of mercy and grace, not knowledge and worthiness. If you are hungry and thirsty for unbounded grace, mercy, and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, you are welcome to the Lord’s Table.
We also offer gluten free and non-alcoholic bread and wine.
We are a handicapped accessible church.
